What are Gift Vouchers
Want to buy something from Egyptian Dreams for friends/relatives but not quite sure which of our excellent products to choose? No problem - send them an Egyptian Dreams Gift Voucher. These vouchers are redeemable as full or part payment for any of our products and will ensure that the gift you give is gratefully received! Egyptian Dreams Gift Vouchers are available in several denominations (or multiples thereof) and have no time limit or expiry date. There is no additional charge for purchasing gift vouchers. Your vouchers will be dispatched via first class mail, free of charge and come in a special papyrus card in which you can write a personalised message for the recipient.

How do I purchase Gift Vouchers?
Exactly the same as you would purchase any other product from our store. Select the gift voucher you want to purchase and add it to your basket. Keep adding the value of vouchers you require to your basket until you have the desired amount. Then just proceed through the checkout process as normal. Once you have completed your order your gift vouchers will be dispatched to the shipping address you supplied during checkout.

Can I include a message?
If you have supplied a shipping address which is different to your billing address you may want us to include a short message with your gift vouchers. At the completion of the checkout process you are given a box to enter any comments. Please use this box to let us know that you require a message sending to the recipient and what that message should be. We will then be happy to add that message to the gift card in which the vouchers are contained.

Can I purchase Gift Vouchers in Dollars or Euros?
While you can select your own currency from the currency selection box on the right of the page, and purchase using your currency, the actual Gift Vouchers are printed showing the value in UK Sterling. Due to daily updates of the exchange rate the amount redeemed may show slightly different in your currency than the purchase price, although it will still be worth exactly the correct amount in UK Sterling. For example, if you purchase a £20.00 gift voucher in U.S. Dollars the cost might be $36.75. When the voucher is redeemed the exchange rate may be slightly different and the amount redeemed might show $36.40. However, displaying the amount in UK Sterling will still show the amount as £20.00. The value of the voucher will not change in UK Sterling as that is the base currency used.

How Do I Spend Give Vouchers?
If you have received gift vouchers from somebody you can use them as full or part payment for any of our products. Select the items you wish to purchase and then proceed to through the checkout process. Once you reach the payment page you will be prompted to enter the code of any gift vouchers you may have. Enter a code and click on the Redeem button. This will credit your account with the amount of the gift voucher. You may repeat this process for as many vouchers as you have. Your shopping cart (at the top right of the screen) will display your current voucher balance.

To actually use this balance towards the payment total, on the payment screen click on the check box which says 'Tick to use Gift Voucher account balance ->'.

If the amount in your voucher balance is enough to cover the purchase total then you may continue to the next stage without entering any further payment information. The purchase amount will be deducted from your voucher balance upon completion of the order. If you still have an unused amount in your balance after your order has been completed this will be saved and you can use it for future purchases. Remember, there is no time limit on using your voucher balance.

If the purchase total is more than your voucher balance then you will have to either enter your payment card details or fax/phone your payment card details to Egyptian Dreams. The difference between the purchase total and your voucher total will then be charged to your payment card.

Can I exchange my Gift Vouchers for cash?
We are not able to exchange Gift Vouchers for cash. Vouchers may only be used to purchase goods shown on our web site.

What if i lose my Gift Vouchers?
Please look after your Gift Vouchers until you redeem them into your account balance. In the same way that your bank can't give you replacement money if you lose any, we are unable to refund lost Gift Vouchers or create replacements. We are sorry but we absolutely cannot make any exceptions.
